Processing the measured data may not be necessary when importing data that has already been cleaned up.  If measured data was captured directly into CX then this will be a very important step.

First individual scans for each orientation must be aligned to each other.  Then the different orientations can be aligned and combined.  This will create a single measured data entity that can then be processed further if needed.  It is generally good practice to remove any extraneous data.  This can be done manually or automatically with the Filter Noise command.  Using the Sample/Decimate command will help improve the performance of the program and reduce computational time.
