Reference data is not required for all workflows, but it will make analyzing the scan data much easier. Reference data takes the form of CAD, mesh, or constructed geometry. CAD is the most common type of reference geometry and will be the focus of this video.
The PMI Import Wizard can save time if the GD&T has already been defined in another CAD package. The following file formats are compatible with this tool:
