If post processing in Cimatron is too slow, the problem could be that the system is also running Simulator routines.

To check this, go to post the procedure and select a machine.  Now at the top of the posting window is a button called Machine Parameters.

We recommend that you uncheck the box's for Material Removal and Check against Part.   These are not something we need checked when posting.  What is taking time is the creation of the stock for the simulator.

If using the material removal check, the system is generating a stock file every time you post.  You will notice that you don't even see the GPP2.exe process show up right away in the Task Manager, until after the stock was generated.

These boxes do remember the last used setting, so they should stay unchecked.
